We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team in Bucharest. This is a hybrid position with 2 office days per week and the rest remote.

Salary range (net/month):

Mid-Level: 13,000 – 16,000 RON

Senior: 16,000 – 22,000 RON

Contract: 6 months

Tasks

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
  • Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
  • Build, monitor, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments (development, QA, staging, production).
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment processes and improve release cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across environments.
  • Provide support for incident resolution and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles, managing both production and non-production environments.
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (preferred: Azure DevOps).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems (Linux & Windows), and virtualization (e.g., VMware).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.

Nice to have / Advantages:

  • Experience building environments from scratch (preferably QA or staging).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, ELK, or similar
