Tasks

They are seeking a motivated and driven Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join their dynamic team. As a crucial member of our trading team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our innovative marketplace, connecting buyers and suppliers globally.

What you will do:

  • Manage the full sales cycle and identify new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace to ensure seamless trade between customers and suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Technology, Operations, Growth and Leadership teams to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor new team members and foster a culture of continuous learning within the company.
  • Address any concerns or feedback from clients and work towards effective problem resolution.
  • Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed decisions.

Requirements

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles, and a proven record in mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in German (native speaker fluency preferred) and good English command.
  • Go-To-Market, entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment such as hyper-growth start-ups.
  • Basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus.
