Middle QA Engineer

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive Middle QA Engineer (M/F/D) to be responsible for testing our software throughout the entire development lifecycle. This role involves identifying and addressing problems and bugs that users may encounter, assisting developers, and demonstrating a keen interest in test automation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for manual testing from analysing business requirements till post-release/post-implementation testing
• Extend and maintain our testing infrastructure
• Register defects, handle the release process, report defects in Jira by fully documenting the behaviour and providing troubleshooting info to the developers
• Validate data transformations, migrations, and ensure accurate storage and retrieval of information
• Develop and execute performance testing strategies to assess the scalability, stability, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Work with cross-functional teams in Agile framework to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Your profile

• More than 3 years of proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Ability to effectively identify, record and track bugs
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) would be a plus
• Attention to detail, analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
• Strong team orientation and collaborative approach to work
