Job Description:

ERP - IFS Cloud- Finance Module Functional Consultant.
As an IFS Finance consultant mainly, you would be involving in multiple kind of projects such as Implementation, Support, or Upgrade Projects for IFS ERP.

Relevant Experience: 7 to 10+ years of experience (IFS 10 and above)
Job Responsibilities:
Domain: Expertise on Finance Module (AR/ AP/ GL)
Fair experience to handle the below Sub-Modules in IFS Finance functional areas which you must have knowledge.

• Company Setup
• Chart of Accounts
• Posting Control
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Cash/Bank Payment
• Voucher Entry
• Inventory Accounting

In principle, IFS Upgrade and Implementation are having the same approach and activities:
1. Candidate should have Minimum 10+ years of experience in IFS Finance module experience with at least 7 years’ experience in IFS Finance and 1 end to end implementation experience on IFS Cloud.
2. Responsible for end-to-end Implementation / Upgrade / Support Projects on IFS Applications
3. Expected to work for gathering of new business requirement and understand the customer requirement/BRD to provide the Solution as per IFS application standards.
4. Map business process to IFS ERP (Outcome: Prepare TO-BE/Solution Definition document).
5. Migration of Master, Basic, and Transaction data in IFS Test Environment (Outcome: Prepare migration template to collect data for test migration activity)
6. Knowledge to Prepare Functional Specification / Test cases documents for identified CRIM’s.
7. Candidate should have knowledge to perform Functional Testing / SIT / UAT supporting experience.
8. Creation of training materials and Conducting customer training sessions and workshops.
9. Preparation of Go Live/Cutover Plan & Migration of data in Production (Go Live)
10. Guiding and assisting the customer with testing and Go Live cut-over strategies.
11. Involve in different phases of project life cycle that addresses the Customer’s key requirements.
12. Supply Chain /Manufacturing/Sales/Purchase/Project/Maintenance/Sales Contract Cross domain Modules Knowledge will be an added advantage.
13. Global view and cross domain solution driven approach.
14. Provide support to maintenance of tickets / Service Request / New Change Request within SLA.
15. Below are the most common activities which you would require to perform during the Support Project of IFS.

• Month-end, Year-end Closing Activities
• Debug finance & accounts-related issues.
• Reconciliation of accounts and general ledger with sub-ledgers (Likes Supplier Balance/Customer Balance/Inventory/Fixed Assets).
• Help the Finance department with any kind of migration activities.
• Help Finance Department with the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly Reports.
• Help the Finance department to implement any new rule or regulation of government compliance. (Like E.Invoice )

Over all Qualifications:

Essential:

• Preferred Qualification: M. Com / MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant or equivalent
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams, colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Expertise in business process mapping and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Fluent in English and local language, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Desirable:

• Knowledge and record of IFS products implementation / Upgrade / Support projects.
• Industry-specific knowledge from target industries.
• IFS Cloud Finance Certification will be added value.
