Senior Tax Advisor / Investor Tax Reporting PE Funds

Your Tasks:

Responsible for delivering tax compliance and specialist tax advisory services for PE funds / Preparing tax reports for investors / Calculating and providing tax-related key figures and data on PE fund investments / Separating taxable income from capital gains / Analysing dividends, interest or distribution-equivalent income / Calculating the percentage tax allowance on income depending on the type of fund / Calculating the notional minimum tax (lump-sum advance payment) for accumulation funds and the actual distributions / Determining creditable amounts under double taxation agreements, e.g. providing evidence of withholding tax already paid / Assisting with ongoing investor tax reporting for other jurisdictions / Support with the tax due diligence process and tax structuring / Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant operational tax procedures, risk processes and controls / Ensuring that fund reporting complies with the relevant German tax laws / Monitoring changes to relevant tax regulations and their impact on fund investments / Contributing to tax projects and process optimisation within the department.

Your Profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Business Law, or Accountancy / Professional experience with one of the ‘Big 4’ or a renowned tax consultancy firm in relation to PE funds and reporting to investors / In-depth knowledge and practical experience of German tax law / Specialist knowledge in the area of investment fund distributions and fund due diligence, fund structuring / An analytical and team-oriented personality with the ability to translate complex tax legislation into tax accounting logic / Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete them on time with a customer-focused approach / Coordination skills and a structured, proactive approach to work / Communication and interpersonal skills / Proficiency in IT and MS Office (Excel) / English and German.
