Associate Tax Reporting Funds DACH

Preparation of tax reports for private equity funds for investors in the German-speaking Europe / Ad hoc handling of various projects relating to reporting for investors / Assistance with ongoing tax cases for Switzerland, Germany and Austria and support with tax provisions / Support with the tax due diligence process and tax structuring / Coordination of external service providers in the preparation of tax reports for investors (CRS, AEOI) / Quality control of external law firms and service providers during the annual tax compliance process, review of tax returns prepared by external parties, coordination of tax reporting procedures and maintenance of databases / Reviewing operational tax methodology and conducting ongoing reviews of tax processes and internal controls / Monitoring changes to tax regulations in the DACH region and assessing the impact of such changes on the fund business / Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant risk procedures / Implementing new tax regulations / Further developing the department (processes and systems) and participating in tax projects / Handling various ad hoc projects relating to tax reporting for investors.

Master’s in Finance or Taxation / Further training in taxation would be an advantage / Experience in international tax law as well as with German tax reports, gained whilst working at a bank, a tax consultancy firm or an audit firm / Knowledge of typical fund structures, distributions from investment funds and their impact on tax reporting / Interest in working closely with clients in the German-speaking Europe and applying practical and business insights to technical tasks / Analytical, team-oriented personality with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset / Ability to work independently and with precision / Interest in multitasking and setting priorities / High level of reliability and a strong sense of responsibility / Eloquent communicator / Proficient in MS Office programmes, including Excel / German and English.
