Internal Auditor Fund Investments

Perform audits across all business lines of the asset management organization / Collaborate with colleagues in Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance, Operations, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Front Office, etc. / Perform audits in the areas of financial instruments, investment strategies, distribution, client reporting, fund administration, compliance, operations, outsourcing, risk management, branch audits, etc. / Documenting and assessing the control environment, identifying strengths and weaknesses of internal controls and recommending improvements to mitigate risk / Performing data analysis and assessing the integrity of operational data / ensuring compliance with internal and external policies / Preparing audit reports with findings and recommendations for control improvements for the line managers and Head of Internal Audit / Advising line managers and controlling the implementation of process improvements / Participation in the development of the internal audit methodology / Participating in special projects, including the support of Group process improvement initiatives / Ad hoc audits and risk assessments / Business travel (approx. 5-10 %).

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Audit or Business / CPA, ACCA, CIA / Professional experience as an internal and/or external auditor in asset management with fund investments or with a “Big Four” required / Knowledge of investment management processes, operational risks, best practice standards, rules and regulations / Data analytics experience, including the ability to analyze large data sets for audit testing and risk assessments / Working knowledge of data querying and visualization tools / Strong project management and multitasking capabilities / Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment / Analytical, team-and service-oriented personality with enthusiasm / Independent work style / Interested in interact with senior management and stakeholders across various business functions / Excellent oral and written communication skills / Fluency in German and English.
