Analyst Market Risk Control Trading

Market Risk Control is an independent function that reviews all trading activities / Leading the Market Risk Control Department / Further development of a team of market risk specialists / Central responsibility for modeling, validating, testing and optimizing market risk models and maintaining the VaR engine, including mapping new product types into trading book positions / Leading initiatives regarding the further development of appropriate methodologies for the measurement of market risk in the trading book, monitoring limits and calculating regulatory capital / Responsible for the quality of risk and stress information / Controlling the approval process of new product types, including the review of internal and external regulatory standards / Regular exchange with Senior Management on trading risk relevant aspects / Project management and project collaboration on initiatives, related to trading or increasing overall efficiency / Further development of the new Market Risk regulation (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) / Single point of contact for stakeholders and financial accounting / Close cooperation with trading related departments.

Ph.D. or Master in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics or Physics / Solid work experience in a similar leadership role as well as in-depth experience in market risk control in trading / Knowledge of financial instruments, risk models and trading related systems / Experience in a front-to-back environment / Analytical skills / Ability to structure qualitative and quantitative information for conclusions / Ability, make correct decisions under time pressure / Practical approach / Good communication and interpersonal skills / Ability to motivate others and go the extra mile / Determination and commitment / Sense of responsibility / Customer and service oriented thinking and acting / Clear and understandable verbal expression / English and German spoken and written.
