Internal Auditor Asset Management

Conduct audits of all units, including management of fund investments, risk management, fund operations, legal and compliance matters, and investors' businesses / The scope of this role includes determining the goals of global projects, leading or contributing to them, identifying emerging business risks, and performing investigations, special reviews, and other ad hoc projects / Understanding the fund business by assessing internal controls, strategies and key changes, etc. / Offering advisory services to mitigate risk or during the development of new business initiatives and systems / Prepare concise written reports and support the Head of Audit Asset Management in fulfilling the audit plan by offering direct input and insights into current business, industry and regulatory risk factors / Interact with regulatory examiners, as required/ Maintain close relationships with the key stakeholders Promoting best practice, efficient business processes and awareness of risk / Ad hoc projects.

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance or Business Administration / Certifications such as the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) / Relevant audit experience in the asset management industry or at a Big 4 company working on fund mandates / Experience of working in investment management, fund operations, risk management and compliance / Understanding of asset management products, as well as corporate and risk management business processes and risk and control systems / Interested in strong data analysis / Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong project management and organisational abilities / Interested in developing the abilities of others / Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / Ability to articulate complex subject matters succinctly and to write concise reports / Proficient in MS Office and with a flair for IT / German as well as English.
