About the role
Are you a driven sales professional ready to step up and lead from the front? Join us as a BDR Team Lead, where you’ll help build and empower a high-performing team, combining hands-on sales expertise with leadership to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
What would your day-to-day look like?
☞ Hands-on Outbound 🎯
- Work with multiple different client projects
- Deliver 20–25 high-quality sales qualified leads (SQLs) per month alongside your leadership responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with Account Management and Customer Success teams on strategy, outreach, and feedback loops.
☞ KPI Ownership & Reporting 📊
- Track team-wide performance metrics (SQLs, response & conversion rates)
- Lead weekly reporting, forecasting, and performance deep-dives.
- Conduct team standups and retrospectives to maintain operational excellence.
☞ Process & Tool Management ⚙️
- Evolve our outbound playbook and automate workflows where possible.
- Manage the sales tool stack, including email-automation and calling tools, and ensure process quality.
- Identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency and conversion.
☞ Team Leadership & Coaching 🌱
- Lead and develop a team of 3–5 BDRs through regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Drive team growth by designing and delivering impactful training initiatives, including role-plays, pitch simulations and other training materials.
- Cultivate a strong team culture centered on operational excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Contribute to team expansion by supporting the hiring and onboarding of new BDRs.
Requirements
About you
You’re a driven sales professional who thrives on challenge, ownership, and growth. You know what great outbound looks like, and you’re ready to help others achieve it too!
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years in outbound B2B sales (SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales).
- Coaching or team leadership experience (formal or informal).
- Experience in startups, agencies, or SDR-as-a-Service models and working with B2B customers is a plus.
Languages:
- German proficiency (must have): native speaker or strong professional proficiency with a C1+ level.
- English proficiency: ability to speak and write fluently and idiomatically.
Skills:
- Structured, proactive, and performance-driven mindset.
- Strong knowledge of outbound strategy, email, and phone prospecting.
- Hands-on experience with sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach.io, Lemlist, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with signal-based prospecting or automated lead sourcing is a plus.
