Junior Finance Analyst (f/m/d)

Position Description

As Junior Finance Analyst you will be part of the Finance team dealing with day-to-day activities in controlling and finance.

In this role, you will:

• Build and manage financial models to track and report projects and products costs on a monthly basis
• Calculate customer and product success (product and project margin, margin per customer) both past and forecasted
• Investigate unprofitable variances and losses
• Evaluate pricing models and levels and propose changes to strategy department
• Establish business planning for new products or relevant business/transformation initiatives to define and monitor profitability impact for the company
• Participate in the forecast and 5-year plan process suggesting adjustments based on projects/products profitability levels

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably in comparable software industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating complex financial models and utilizing advanced formulas
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting and cost control
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and results-driven mindset combined with a high level of reliability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
• Oriented to details with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) is a plus
• Proficiency in English language and knowledge of German language is a plus
