Position Description
As a member of our Infrastructure and Support Team, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for addressing day-to-day IT inquiries from Cinemo employees. Your responsibilities will include providing 1st and 2nd level support to ensure seamless user experiences both in our office and remote locations. This entails selecting, implementing, and deploying equipment for office and home-office use. You'll also play a key role in establishing departmental policies, guidelines, and user support standards. Furthermore, you'll be responsible for guiding and training employees on equipment usage, maintaining user documentation, and managing IT equipment inventory.
Regular office presence in Karlsruhe is essential for this role.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively solve 1st and 2nd level support cases on hard and software issues
- On-prem service - Take care of our office equipment: Install, move, add or change existing installations like work desks, meeting room equipment or other IT-related peripherals in our office space
- Diagnose and provide support on computer system problems, including repairing, servicing, installing, training, and troubleshooting computer hardware, printers, and other peripherals
- Help to roll-out and provision internal devices (e.g. laptops, workstations, and other peripherals) to ensure the compliance with the company rules
What you will need to succeed:
- At least 2-3 years of experience at resolving user issues and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience in IT support within a heterogeneous environment encompassing Windows, Linux, and MacOS systems
- Expertise with Networks, Active Directory, Intune, and handling inventory
- Strong familiarity with current user applications, hardware technologies and trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- German language skills are a plus
