Centaura is an early-stage biotech company that aims at preventing and reversing aging, keeping people healthy and functional both cognitively and physically by studying the biological origins of aging-related processes and developing targeted therapies to combat their root causes. Centaura is currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer/Head of Investor Relations to join our multinational team of bright minds. The primary goal of this executive will be to design, implement, and oversee all company’s business processes, plans, and procedures and support the CEO in the
variety of projects and assignments related to the fundraising activity.
The Chief Operating Officer/Head of Investor Relations will report to the CEO. The role is based in Zurich and requires frequent traveling.
Tasks
- Acting as a strategic advisor to the CEO enabling fulfilment of the company’s strategic goals according to the defined roadmap
- Designing and implementing business strategies, processes, plans, and procedures
- Overseeing daily operations of the company providing that all processes work smoothly and efficiently
- Proposing measures and plans for the company’s business processes and procedures continuous improvement
- Providing the CEO and other company’s executives with reports referring to the status of company’s strategic goals fulfilment, reaching the critical milestones, meeting the deadlines, etc.
- Managing and growing the company’s employees to encourage their maximum performance and dedication
- Ensuring that the company is appropriately and strategically positioned towards the current and potential investors including but not limited to:
- Designing a robust investor relations strategy and framework
- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with the current and potential investors
- Creating and managing a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
- Assisting the CEO in all aspects of fundraising process
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in executive leadership positions
- Practical proven experience in setting-up robust business processes (e.g., converting strategy into precise goals for company’s functional department and implementing KPI and metrics; project management; implementing of CRM; cash flow planning) — please provide the list of successfully fulfilled projects in your CV
- Fundraising experience (especially in an early-stage company) and extensive network of investors
- Higher education in Finance, Legal, or Business Administration
- Native/fluent English
- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
- Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
