About the project:

We aim to radically enhance longevity by developing new gene therapy vectors that enable the complex molecular engineering required to make cells and organs that hold up robustly to time and damage. Our flagship technology to do this is the Human Artificial Chromosome (HAC), a synthetic biology project aimed at creating multifunctional vectors capable of large-scale, multifactorial transgenesis, analogous to Yeast and Bacterial Artificial Chromosomes.

Position summary:

We’re seeking a Bachelor/Master graduate with experience in molecular and cellular biology. Together with talented specialists from our team, you will be responsible for the support of ongoing experiments -- constructing and delivering HACs into human cells, as well as designing and testing the first prototypes of mouse artificial chromosomes.

Tasks

A successful candidate shall:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory experiments following
SOPs, protocols, and verbal instructions from supervisors
  • Assist in more complex laboratory tasks and project
    progress
  • Record results, organize data, and perform necessary
    data analysis
  • Prepare research reports and archive research documents
  • Work flexibly in a fast-paced industrial research
