Vorstellung Cartonplast Group

Cartonplast Group is an international company specializing in reusable transport packaging and circular service solutions for industrial customers.

Brazil is an important growth market for Cartonplast and our first major step into Latin America. Over the past years, we have already built an operational foundation, developed relationships with leading companies in the glass and beverage industries and established an active commercial pipeline.

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to turn these opportunities into sustainable growth and actively shape the further development of our business in Brazil.

Tasks

Identify and develop new business opportunities across Brazil

Take ownership of existing commercial opportunities and move them from current engagement through negotiation and implementation

Build relationships with new customers and relevant decision-makers

Conduct customer and site visits to understand production, logistics and transport packaging processes

Develop tailored commercial solutions and business cases based on cost savings, efficiency, reuse potential and sustainability

Sell both reusable packaging products and related service solutions, including cleaning and reuse concepts

Manage complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and international decision-making structures

Coordinate trials, approvals and implementation together with local and international teams

Identify additional opportunities within existing customers

Maintain a structured pipeline and provide regular market and customer updates

Monitor competitors and relevant developments in packaging, food safety and circular solutions

Requirements

Experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management or a comparable commercial role

Ideally, experience in an industrial, technical or manufacturing-related environment

Strong commercial understanding and confidence in developing new customer relationships

A proactive, independent and hands-on way of working

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Comfortable working with stakeholders from operational teams to senior management

Willingness to visit customers, factories and production sites and to travel regularly within Brazil

Native or near-native Portuguese and good professional English

Experience in packaging, plastics, glass, beverage, logistics, automotive, pooling or other industrial B2B sectors is an advantage, but not a requirement.

A technical or engineering background, Spanish language skills or experience with reusable packaging and circular-economy business models are also welcome.

Benefits

An active commercial pipeline and established industry relationships — you are not starting from zero

The opportunity to build and shape a growth market rather than simply manage an existing customer portfolio

Real ownership and visible impact on the development of the Brazilian business

Direct interaction with local and international management

A broad role combining business development, customer consulting and operational understanding

Short decision-making processes and significant room for your own ideas

The opportunity to grow with the business and contribute to future expansion across Latin America

Sounds like the right challenge for you? Then we’d love to get to know you. We look forward to hearing from you!
