About Caddy Comps

Caddy Comps is the UK’s leading golf prize competition platform. Founded in 2021 and based in Stamford, Lincolnshire, we’ve awarded over £14m in prizes to more than 30,000 winners, with a 5-star Trustpilot rating from over 6,300 reviews to show for it.

We’re now building the marketing team and infrastructure to take us to the next level and this is one of our most important hires.

The Role

This is a craft-led, production-focused role. Where our Social Media Manager owns the high-volume, fast-turnaround organic output, you'll own the premium content that defines the brand. Everything from podcasts, branded films, ambassador features, performance creative, and the hero moments that make Caddy Comps look and feel as good as it should.

Our Head of Marketing will set the creative priorities, your job is to make the work, to a standard the brand deserves. You'll be the most senior creative in production: confident shooting, editing, and finishing content end-to-end, and capable of leading a shoot from concept through to delivery and working with partners and agencies on larger shoot days.

Caddy Comps has a brilliant product, ambassador talent most brands would kill for, and £14m worth of winner stories sitting on the books. Right now, our premium content output doesn't match the size of the opportunity. You'll fix that.

This is not a volume role. We want someone who cares about the craft, the camera move, the cut, the grade, the sound design and who can deliver work that performs, whether it's a paid social ad that converts or a podcast episode worth watching to the end.

Tasks

Production & Filmmaking

  • Lead the shooting of premium video content end-to-end, concepting, planning, capture and delivery
  • Film multi-cam podcast episodes with ambassadors and guests, across studio and on-location formats
  • Shoot branded content for stakeholders, partners, sponsors, winners and ambassador-led activations
  • Produce hero brand films, ambassador features and customer/winner story content
  • Run shoots professionally, kit prep, location scouts, lighting, sound, talent direction
  • Travel to courses, events and partner locations across the UK and Internationally as required

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit content end-to-end to a high standard, picture edit, sound design, music, colour, motion graphics, titles
  • Cut multiple versions and aspect ratios for paid, organic and partner channels
  • Build and maintain a library of cuts, clips and B-roll the wider marketing team can pull from
  • Manage post-production workflow including ingest, organisation, exports and versioning
  • Own quality control on everything that goes out under your name

Performance Creative & Ads

  • Produce video creative for paid social and YouTube ads built to convert, not just to look good
  • Iterate quickly on what's working: hooks, formats, lengths, edits
  • Work with the Head of Marketing on creative testing for paid campaigns
  • Apply the same craft to performance work that you'd apply to brand work

Collaboration

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Social Media Manager, your premium content feeds their organic output; their insights feed your testing
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing on campaign moments, launches and ambassador activations
  • Brief and direct freelancers (additional shooters, animators, sound designers) when scale is needed
  • Coordinate with ambassadors, talent and partners on shoot logistics and creative direction

Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience as a Shooter/Editor, Filmmaker, or DP/Editor, ideally in-house for a consumer brand or at a strong production company
  • Strong reel demonstrating both shooting and editing across multiple formats — long-form, podcast, brand films and performance creative
  • Confident on professional camera systems (Sony FX series, Canon C-series or similar) — you own your own kit or know exactly what you need
  • Expert in Premiere Pro, Final Cut and/or DaVinci Resolve; comfortable in After Effects for motion graphics; capable colourist
  • Multi-cam podcast experience — you've shot, recorded clean audio for, and edited podcasts before
  • Demonstrable experience producing video creative for paid social that has driven measurable performance
  • Confident leading shoots — directing talent, managing logistics, problem-solving on set
  • Excellent eye for composition, pacing and finish — you sweat the details others don't
  • Self-driven and senior in approach — you own the work, the standard, and the delivery

Nice to Have

  • Passion for golf, sport, or the competition/gaming space
  • Experience working with ambassador or celebrity talent
  • Drone experience with appropriate certifications (A2 CofC or GVC)
  • Stills photography capability
  • Studio lighting and sound experience for podcast/interview formats

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on skill level and experience
  • Hybrid working, 2 days per week with the team in our Stamford office + on location shoots (flexible working environment around on location commitments)
  • Creative freedom within a clear strategic framework
  • A genuinely exciting brand to work on: great product, great ambassadors, growing fast
  • Direct access to the Head of Marketing and a small, high-performing team
  • Real ownership of the brand's creative output, your work, your standard
  • The chance to build something. This role will grow as the brand grows, including the potential to build a production team beneath you
