Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and independent Senior Accountant to take ownership of the full financial reporting cycle for multiple entities withing a fast growing and dynamic international gaming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management accounts, preparing statutory financial statements, handling regulatory reporting, and managing group consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS;
• Manage group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of balances;
• Manage VAT returns and other regulatory reporting;
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and manage the audit process end-to-end
• Review purchase invoices, prepare and authorise supplier payments;
• Assist in variance analysis and liaise with other departments to obtain explanations;
• Identify financial inefficiencies and recommend financial process improvements;

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ relevant experience
• Gaming industry experience is a plus
• Strong management reporting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills are essential
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and knowledge of Power BI are considered as assets
