Tasks
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Venture Growth Data Lead to build the core data, analytics, and GTM systems that power every new venture from day zero. This role creates the infrastructure and automations that allow founders to launch faster, operate with clarity, and scale efficiently.
You will work directly with the Head of Ops and founders across the portfolio to design and implement repeatable frameworks for data pipelines, tracking, dashboards, CRM systems, automation workflows, and enrichment. Your work enables portfolio-wide visibility and replaces ad-hoc tooling with scalable, reusable systems.
What You’ll Do
- Build centralized data infrastructure and ETL/ELT pipelines across ventures.
- Design scalable architectures suited for zero-to-one environments.
- Create reusable reporting workflows and dashboards for GTM, product, finance, and marketing.
- Own GTM tooling, CRM setups, data schemas, scoring, routing, and qualification logic.
- Build and maintain automation workflows using tools such as n8n.
- Implement enrichment, attribution, and event tracking frameworks.
- Develop plug-and-play onboarding flows for new venture launches.
- Reduce time-to-launch for new ventures and enable portfolio-wide analytics visibility.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Strong data engineering fundamentals; excellent SQL; Python nice to have.
- AI-native approach to engineering and implementation.
- Experience building systems from scratch in early-stage or 0→1 environments.
- Ability to translate commercial needs into data models and GTM systems.
- Hands-on experience with CRM architecture, automations, routing, enrichment, or attribution.
- Comfort working across multiple business models (SaaS, eCommerce, consulting).
- Strong business logic: you have experience not just identifying problems or opportunities through data analysis but also solving those problems
- Comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment
- Experience in venture studios, agencies, or multi-project contexts is a plus.
The process
- Initial conversation with our recruiter to explore fit and background.
- Interview with the Head of Ops focused on your experience, problem-solving, and how you approach building stacks from scratch.
- Case + assessment involving a concrete data/business problem and relevant testing (including, potentially, a cognitive ability assessment).
- Final interview (including a discussion with our leadership) and offer.
