In the past five years more than 100 weather events have caused over $1 billion in damages, and 5,500 people have been killed in such disasters in the past 7 years. That is more than 2 times the average from the 40 years before it.

We believe that Americans want peace of mind and are launching a premium survival equipment company to keep families safe during such scenarios.

This idea has been put through an extensive ideation and validation process, passing the necessary hurdles with flying colors. At every stage we have made a go or no-go decision.

Phase one: Idea generation and selection

Phase three: Product research paper

Phase four: Waitlist test (150 waitlist signups reached)

Phase five: Sales test (3x sales done with a scrappy website)

Phase six: Metrics test (10x sales done at $700 AOV)

Tasks

Following the successful validation of the idea, we are now looking for a CEO to assume end-to-end ownership of this project, taking the product to market and eventually creating a highly profitable business.

There is a launchpad for success with a strong brand, data on the ideal customer profile, proven revenue generation, and the full backing of Bifrost Studios with more than 30 free services available to this business.

As the CEO of the premium survival equipment startup you will launch and scale a validated business model, with full ownership over revenue and profitability. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Shape and execute an ambitious ecommerce business strategy taking the project to >1M USD in revenue
  • Upgrade the product, leveraging your passion and expertise within physical survival or outdoor products
  • Manage a complex supply chain setup, ensuring smooth downstream logistics and high customer satisfaction from deliveries
  • Build an organic following for the business, acting as a thought leader in survival space
  • Build and lead a top performing team to take this business to >5M USD in revenue and >1M USD in annual profit

Requirements

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial CEO to lead and scale this business. We imagine that you have the following:

  • Passion for survival and/or safety products
  • Experience running and growing an ecommerce businesses, ideally with ownership over marketing, product, or supply chain
  • You have founded or built a business from the ground up or have proven yourself as a highly entrepreneurial person, e.g. by transforming a business unit
  • You are a proven leader who can build and rally a team
  • You are based anywhere in the US
