Maintenance engineer with an electrical engineering education

Always had a passion for sports? In our sporty environment of Stichd, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer.

Stichd is part of the PUMA Group. Headquartered in the Netherlands ('s-Hertogenbosch), they also have several sales offices in Europe, Asia and South America. This storage and distribution facility is located in Tilburg.

The FlashPick® system consists of a shuttle warehouse with five aisles and 20 levels and six PickCenter One picking workstations. Our clients Warehouse Software is responsible for controlling all processes and four kilometres of conveyors are used for energy-efficient transport.

• You will execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• You resolve complex breakdown situations and actively seek root cause. This includes electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification
• You attend customer meetings, providing any updates on the automation
• You ensure high levels of housekeeping, never compromise on safety first
• You support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency and suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliablity
• You complete all necessary reports, while working in DART and CMMS software platforms
• You coach and mentor apprentices and technicians

The work is in 2 shifts from Monday to Friday

• Early shift 06:00 - 14:30
• Late shift 14:00 - 22:30

• You have at least a MBO-level 3 Engineering diploma with general knowledge of mechanics, electrical and control
• You have an electrical (or equivalent) qualification (minimum MBO-2)
• You have previous experience working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
• You are skilled in reading electrical drawings
• You have great problem-solving skills and are able to work in a time-critical environment
• You have the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
• You like being flexible and work in a 2-shift pattern

• Immediate a permanent contract with a market conform salary (14% shift allowance because of the 2 shifts pattern) and 8% holiday allowance
• Travel allowance € 0,23 per kilometre (max. 100 km per day)
