Tasks

In this exciting position, you will have a holistic view at the entire supply chain. You will play a key role in ensuring that operational supply chain activities run smoothly and efficiently whilst reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Your strong communication skills and analytical thinking will help you to effectively align the activities of marketing, purchasing, production and distribution logistics into an integrated supply chain planning. Your aim is to avoid excess inventory and out-of-stocks while ensuring on time delivery. You actively contribute to the development and implementation of the overall supply chain strategy and are responsible for the planning, monitoring and optimization of material and information flows along the entire supply chain up to delivery to our customers.

The tasks include:

  • Inventory management: You monitor the availability of raw materials and finished products to ensure that demand can always be met. You will continuously improve measures to ensure optimal order and stock quantities.
  • Capacity planning: By monitoring and analyzing the capacity utilization of the production, shipping and transport departments, you will identify bottlenecks and overloads at an early stage and take appropriate measures to adjust and optimize them.
  • Reporting: You regularly create reports with relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for the executive management regarding risks, performance and optimization measures.
  • Risk management and optimization: You proactively identify supply chain risks and drive the development and implementation of mitigation measures. This also includes the continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
  • Shipping and transport coordination: To optimize delivery reliability and costs, you plan and coordinate pick-up and shipping activities from the production site to the distribution centers and customers together with our transport partners.

This position requires a flexible way of working as it takes place both at the company headquarters in Berlin (Germany) and at one of our production sites (planned site near) Poznań (Poland).
