Head of Technology & Product - Lead Engineering, Ship Product

That’s where you come! As our Head of Technology & Product, you’ll be the technical architect and delivery lead of BANQR’s platform, responsible for how it performs, scales, and evolves.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and external tech partners. While your core focus (70%) is technology, you’ll also drive product alignment (30%), translating user feedback and commercial goals into execution plans.

This is a high-impact, high-trust leadership role, ideal for someone who blends engineering depth, product intuition, and delivery ownership, most importantly with a hands on personality.

Technology Ownership (70%)

• Own our entire technical architecture, infrastructure, and platform roadmap
• Manage internal/external development teams, sprint cadence, and releases
• Define and implement secure, scalable ERP integrations (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP)
• Oversee performance, stability, uptime, and system monitoring
• Drive automation and tooling that supports faster delivery
• Lead technical documentation and compliance alignment

Product Execution (30%)

• Prioritize product features in collaboration with CEO and Customer Success
• Turn customer feedback into well-defined technical specs
• Track feature adoption and improve user enablement
• Work cross-functionally to ensure technical feasibility and commercial value
• Manage product documentation and internal rollout briefings

• 6+ years in technical SaaS leadership (Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or Product-Engineering hybrid)
• Strong architectural and infrastructure background (ERP/FinTech experience preferred)
• Proven product delivery history,taking features from roadmap to release
• Proven experience with ERP integration or embedded finance platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, APIs, or financial integrations is a plus
• Agile, async work habits and ownership mindset
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, API design, monitoring & release tooling
• Hands-on mentality with strategic oversight, you don’t need babysitting
• Strong communication skills across technical and commercial stakeholders
• Fluent in English (German a plus)
