Vice President M&A Tech (all genders)

Our client is an established and successful US investment bank dedicated to being a trusted advisor to their clients in all aspects of their business and personal finances. Clients are public, private, and family-owned businesses, as well as financial sponsors, family offices, and other institutional investors.

As a Vice President, you will work closely with our senior bankers on business development, relationship maintenance, and transaction execution. You will be responsible for working on a variety of corporate finance and M&A transactions at all stages, from origination and execution to transaction closings.

Key tasks include:

• Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.
• Oversee the execution of live engagements, from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions.
• Ensuring the quality of Associates and Analysts work.
• Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.

• 5-7 years of significant experience executing M&A transactions, preferably in the technology sector.
• Exceptional analytical and modelling skills.
• High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting, and finance skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Extraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detail.
• Adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies.
• Strong client management skills.
