We are looking for a **German** **Content Creator (Freelancer)** to develop engaging German materials for our migration/integration course. The material will focus on two separate components: 1\. An intensive German course (A1-B1) and 2\. An integration component. 

This is a remote freelancer position to start ASAP.

## You will:

* Curate and design engaging materials for an Intensive German course (A1-B1)
* Mapping content to the Babbel app lessons and optimizing mapping based on feedback
* Optimise and improve our learning content based on teacher and learner feedback
* Manage the curriculum and content suite, potentially with content management tools (e.g. Contentful) and AI tools, and drive the optimization of learning content through AI-assisted content creation

## You have:

* German & English language skills (native proficiency)
* Knowledge of the CEFR framework.
* Familiarity with the Babbel app
* Experience in creating and editing online teaching material
* Experience in the field of language learning and familiarity with the digital self-study market
* Working knowledge of Google Suite
* The ability to work to deadlines and be dedicated to output.
* A tax number for freelance work (not necessarily issued by the German authorities)

**Nice to Have**:

* Knowledge of other languages is a strong plus (Ukrainian, Arabic etc).
* Knowledge of migration/integration courses in Germany.
* Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up environment is a strong plus.
* A university degree in German Teaching, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
* A passion for languages and cultures
