Azurreo is a fully remote scale-up operating across five continents, part of Seelon Holdings Group. Our People & Culture team is small, hands-on and building fast — we are putting in place the structure that will support the group as it grows.
We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Associate to join the team on a full-time consultant agreement, based in Syria, reporting to the Global People & Culture Manager, with a target start of end of September 2026. This fully remote role splits time roughly evenly between recruitment and general HR support, and is a great fit for someone early in their HR career who wants real exposure across the full employee lifecycle rather than a narrow specialism.
Tasks
You'll run vacancies end to end alongside the wider team, and keep the day-to-day HR operations running smoothly for a distributed team:
- Prepare job postings and align with hiring managers on requirements and timelines
- Screen applications and proactively source candidates on LinkedIn and other channels
- Arrange and join interviews, keeping candidates and managers informed throughout
- Help build our referral channel, one of our strongest sources of good people
- Manage onboarding and offboarding for a distributed team
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Help roll out policies and internal communications
- Support the performance review cycle
- Respond to day-to-day employee questions
- Contribute to HR reporting on how recruitment and people processes are performing.
Requirements
What you bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruitment or a closely related role — agency or in-house both welcome
- Organised and self-driven, with the ability to follow through without being chased
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and simple reporting
- Clear, confident written communication — essential in a distributed team spread across several countries
- Fluent Arabic and strong written and spoken English; French is a real advantage given part of our operation sits in France
- Able to work full-time, based in Syria, 9am to 6pm Syria time (one-hour break), Monday to Friday, with weekends off
- A reliable internet connection and a suitable home working setup
- Previous remote working experience is an advantage
- Above all, a genuine sense of ownership — you will be trusted with real responsibility early
Benefits
- Fully remote role, based in Syria, with a predictable schedule (9am–6pm, weekends off)
- Paid leave and local public holidays observed
- Company laptop provided
- Free access to edX for online courses and professional development
- Real ownership from day one, in a small, fast-growing People & Culture team
- Broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle, recruitment through offboarding
- Part of a scale-up operating across five continents, with real room to grow as the team scales
Apply through the posting with your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a first conversation with the People & Culture team, followed by a short practical exercise and a final interview.
