The Role

We are looking for a Traveling Telecom Technician who wants to grow in a demanding and dynamic technical environment. This position is primarily field-oriented: you will work at various sites to install, configure, test, and maintain telecom equipment.

This is an ideal role for a technical profile looking to:

• Develop hands-on expertise.
• Work on a variety of projects.
• Operate across France and internationally.

Deployment & Commissioning

• Install and configure network equipment (routers, switches, servers, etc.).
• Participate in the deployment of telecom infrastructure (technical sites, datacenters, etc.).
• Ensure the commissioning and testing of installations.

Diagnostics & Incident Resolution

• Identify and analyze technical failures.
• Intervene to resolve incidents.
• Guarantee system performance and continuity.

Analysis & Improvement

• Analyze installation performance.
• Report field issues.
• Participate in the improvement of configurations.

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams.
• Comply with procedures, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Write clear and structured intervention reports.

Communication, Languages & Relationship Management

• Fluent English: Required for international technical reporting
• Vocal Leadership: Naturally takes charge of conversations and provides a proactive flow of information to stakeholders.
• Technical Translation: Skilled at diagnosing issues and explaining them clearly to senior management and customers.
• Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong professional ties through direct, confident engagement during field missions.

Education & Experience

• Degree: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, IT, or Electronics.
• Experience: Initial experience (internship, work-study, or first job) in Networking, Telecom, IT Infrastructure, or field technical support.

Technical Skills

• Strong foundations in networking (IP, routing, switching).
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of mobile networks (2G, 3G, 4G).
• Proficiency with network hardware.

Logistics

• Valid Driver’s License (Permis B).
• Full availability for frequent travel.
• Ability to work independently.
