Role Overview

As an Junior Operations Associate, you will support the coordination, monitoring, and structured execution of operational activities related to IT and telecommunications services delivered to international clients.

This role is designed for early-career professionals with 1–2 years of full-time professional experience in operations, coordination, service delivery, or structured IT environments.

You will operate within a disciplined, process-driven framework and progressively take ownership of defined operational workstreams under structured supervision.

Tasks

Operational Coordination

  • Support daily operational planning and task tracking
  • Coordinate activities between technical teams, vendors, and clients
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and trackers
  • Assist in resource coordination and task allocation

Monitoring & Escalation

  • Track operational KPIs and delivery timelines
  • Identify delays, risks, or service gaps and escalate proactively
  • Follow up on action items to ensure timely completion
  • Ensure alignment between operational execution and client expectations

Technical & Documentation Support

  • Support operations involving IT infrastructure fundamentals (IP addressing, networking basics, firewalls, basic security concepts)
  • Translate technical inputs into structured documentation
  • Prepare service reports, dashboards, and performance summaries

Quality & Process Compliance

  • Follow internal quality, security, and QHSE procedures
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits or client reviews
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare structured status updates and meeting summaries
  • Maintain professional communication in English and French
  • Support stakeholder reporting under structured leadership

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical field
  • 1–2 years of full-time professional experience in Operations, Project Coordination, IT Support, or Service Delivery
  • Internships or academic projects do not qualify as professional experience
  • Foundational understanding of IT networking concepts (IP, infrastructure basics, firewalls)
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Professional proficiency in French (written and spoken)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a structured remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and professional home-office setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to telecom or infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with structured operational methodologies
  • Arabic language skills
  • Strong interest in developing a long-term career in operations or service management
