ADH has a dual mission: Developing cloud-based software applications for Health insurance and supporting Allianz units world-wide in optimising their Health insurance business along the value chain.

Tasks

  • Develop deep expertise in insurance data models and consult Allianz entities globally on data transformation
  • Drive data harmonisation and quality initiatives by contextualising data for different stakeholders
  • Independently organise, track, and manage data transformation projects with Allianz entities.
  • Communicate requirements and timelines effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Conduct raw data analysis, design and implement data processing and cleansing pipelines, and improve data quality.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or Bachelor with comparable work experience) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Quantitative Economics, Applied Statistics or related field
  • Several years of working experience in data engineering and analysis
  • High willingness to combine business know-how with technological skills
  • High level of analytical skills coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical and technical content with insightful visualizations to a non-expert audience
  • Experience in the insurance sector is a plus; strong willingness to deep dive into (health) insurance data and development of good understanding is expected
  • Expertise in data modelling and Python, especially handling large datasets with PySpark
  • High degree of self-organisation, individual responsibility and decisiveness
  • Profound research skills to bring in outside-in perspectives and drive innovative solutions
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German language skills are a plus but no requirement
