## Your Impact

As a Senior Quantitative Researcher, you will be key in shaping and advancing our systematic trading strategies. Leveraging your expertise in financial modelling, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing, you will drive the development of sophisticated predictive models and innovative trading signals. Collaborating closely with our machine learning and data engineering teams, you will help transform complex data into actionable insights, ensuring the continuous evolution of our quantitative strategies. This position is ideal for a seasoned Quantitative Analyst or Portfolio Manager eager to make a meaningful impact in an AI-driven fintech environment.

## What You’ll Do

* Conduct in-depth quantitative research on financial machine learning for high-capacity systematic strategies, primarily in equities, with extensions to fixed income and commodities.
* Contribute to hypothesis testing, model validation, and performance evaluation.
* Collaborate with the machine learning team to integrate quantitative research findings into Axyon AI’s modelling framework.
* Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure efficient data pipelines and seamless model deployment.
* Stay current with the latest quantitative finance, AI, and machine learning advancements.
* Proactively enhance research capabilities and explore innovative techniques to drive performance.
* Translate complex quantitative concepts and research findings into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

## Your Skills & Expertise

* Degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
* Experience as a Quantitative Analyst or Portfolio Manager in a finance or trading environment.
* Familiarity with financial machine learning techniques.
* Intermediate proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
* Strong understanding of quantitative methods, statistics, and systematic strategy construction.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Passion for intellectual curiosity and a drive to make a meaningful impact within the organization.
