We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead Sales professional to spearhead our efforts in the SMB vertical within the DACH market. As the Team Lead Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth while overseeing a talented team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence our sales strategy and contribute significantly to the continued success of our thriving B2B SaaS startup.

Customers: Highlighted customers we work with include Migros, Alnatura, Weisse Arena, and Walter Buchmann.

Tasks

  • Cultivate and nurture a high-performing team of account executives.
  • Lead by example through active participation in sales activities.
  • Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to achieve Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment in strategies and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Establish robust sales processes and workflows, leveraging CRM software to optimize sales operations and efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, regularly updating the CRM system with pipeline progress, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading sales teams within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Fluent in German for effective client discussions, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in English for internal communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams to achieve and surpass targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to foster client relationships and navigate complex sales discussions.
  • Previous experience in hiring and managing sales teams, including target setting, performance management, and professional development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing sales processes and CRM systems to streamline operations.
  • Proficient in using CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot for sales management and reporting.
