We are looking for a new colleague to join us as our new __Platform Engineer.__ The position can be based at our Headquarter in Vejle or office in Copenhagen.

The AUTOproff Platform Engineering team are responsible for internal infrastructure products, like our event driven infrastructure and managed CI/CD solutions, used across the tech teams with cloud native applications on AWS. Topics like scalability, resilience, observability, and developer experience are part of our daily conversations.

We invest in self-service and a product mindset to increase our impact. We also contribute to the improvement of the architecture, engineering practices and processes across the company.

__About the role__

As our __Platform Engineer__ at AUTOproff you will become part of the AUTOproff Platform Engineering team and enable engineering teams to deliver software quickly and reliably and live our “you build it, you run it” approach.

__Let's dive into your key responsibilities__

* Be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the products owned by your team.
* Collaborate with a product manager and engineering teams to identify the right problem to solve.
* Develop tools and frameworks to enable developers to build and maintain services.
* Shape the architecture, technology choices and develop infrastructure products.
* Support other engineers that use your team’s products, participate in on-call, and troubleshoot production incidents.

__What you need to succeed__

* Appreciation for Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline as Code, Continuous Delivery and the Accelerate metrics
* Experience with IaaS cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. (Ideally with AWS)
* Strong familiarity with DevOps principles, design patterns and experience using them
* Familiarity with core IaaS concepts such as compute, storage, networking, identity management, etc.
* Knowledge of observability concepts
* Experience with monitoring technologies such as CloudWatch, Datadog, OpsGenie and NewRelic
* Experience in software engineering, ideally in one of: C#, Python, Golang, Typescript.
* Familiarity with event messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS, SQS
* Problem solving and collaboration skills.
* CI/CD solutions such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
