Food & Agriculture Expert (United States)

Role description

The Food & Agriculture Expert Commentary role is a remote contract position open to experts located anywhere in the United States.

You will provide clear, accurate commentary on agricultural production, food manufacturing, inputs, pricing, distribution, regulation, consumer demand, and supply risk. The expected commitment is approximately four hours per month.

You will review Authority.inc research, datasets, and forecasts to identify errors, weak assumptions, and missing context.

Your commentary will be used to fine-tune the most accurate forecasting models in the world. These models are designed to predict events, decisions, and outcomes across food and agriculture markets globally.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in food and agriculture.

• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
• A detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy and consistency.
