Tasks

As the Sales Director for Power Cables and Telecommunication at Aritec, you will lead our global sales strategy, focusing on building long-term client relationships and driving value through our innovative synthetic fiber solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and strategic sales skills, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals, negotiate contracts, and enhance product quality. With regular travel and representing Aritec at industry events, you’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious growth targets in the construction sector.

Experience and a strong network within the energy industry for power cables and in Telecommunication are a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire, Support, and Advise Customers to build strong relationships by managing and consulting with potential and existing customers.
  • Develop and Promote Proposals to present and advocate for tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide proactive support to customers by working on project development, quality enhancements, and technical innovations.
  • Support Legal and Commercial Negotiations and assist with contract discussions, pricing agreements, and ensure alignment with management approval processes.
  • Set and Review Sales Goals, monitor progress, and establish long-term forecasts to drive sustainable growth.
  • Actively participate in industrial fairs, refine the sales strategy, and deliver comprehensive sales reports.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on synthetic fibre solutions for power cables and Telecommunication
  • Strong technical and material knowledge of synthetic fibres, rubber, aramid and fibre class is needed

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English,
  • Proficiency in another EU language or Chinese is a strong plus

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • Ability to approach challenges with innovative and unconventional solutions, thinking beyond traditional methods to drive growth and efficiency
