As our (Senior) Finance Manager, you won't just be maintaining the status quo - you'll be a key player in shaping our financial landscape from the ground up, ensuring robust and scalable financial processes that support our rapid global expansion.

## What you will do:

* __Manage setup and support of foreign entities:__ Drive the financial aspects of global expansion, including entity setup, intercompany transactions, and local compliance.
* __Ensure tax compliance and strategy:__ Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and optimize tax structures for both domestic and international operations in close collaboration with tax experts from our shareholder.
* __Drive aspects of accounting with expertise in local GAAP (HGB) and IFRS:__ demonstrable in-depth knowledge and practical application along with experience in applying group accounting policies to manage and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
* __Develop and implement financial policies and procedures:__ Create scalable Finance processes that support our rapid growth while maintaining effective internal controls.
* __Contribute to financial reporting:__ Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
* __Contribute to financial planning and analysis:__ Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
* __Collaborate with cross-functional teams:__ Provide financial insights and support to business units, product teams, and senior leadership.

## Who you are:

* You have a strong understanding of financial principles and best practices in finance roles, ideally in fast-growing, international companies.
* You possess a proven track record in __accounting and tax management.__
* You have experience with the __setup and support of foreign entities__, navigating international financial complexities.
* You have a __hands-on mentality__ and are eager to dive into the details to get things done effectively.
* You're a __strong communicator__ who can explain complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences at various levels.
* Crucially, you are proactive, detail-oriented, yet pragmatic, and excited to build and shape finance in a dynamic startup environment.
* You are open-minded and interested in accounting-related projects, e.g. implementation of e-invoicing or AI-based processes and efficiency improvement.
* You're fluent in English and __German (minimum C1).__
* Ideally, you have an audit background, worked for a __Big4 company, and/or an experience in a startup/scale-up__
