So that you don't have to imagine this, we have developed amberSearch. amberSearch is an AI-based, in-house search engine to make it easier for employees to access knowledge 📚

Not only do you know _what_ AI is able to do, but you love to find out and develop _how_ it really works every day? As an AI Engineer in our team, you will develop customized models, train powerful algorithms and take our AI search platform to a whole new level. You use machine learning, neural networks and innovative problem solving to answer the question _“How can we use AI to solve real problems?”_ and set new standards in AI technology together with us.

## Tasks

*   You are responsible for integration and fine-tuneing for a variety of AI models vision and language models to consistently improve the quality and performance of our plattform
*   You develop automated AI pipelines that adapt to our user behavior to continually refine which models deliver the best results and yield the biggest customer satisfaction
*   You evaluate benchmark models on our domain-specific datasets and assess their applicability for various customer needs and use-cases
*   You optimize the performance of our plattform and improve search as well as answer generation times by developing faster, more lightweight models
*   You stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI research and industry trends, incorporating innovative techniques to keep our platform at the forefront of AI-driven solutions

## Requirements

MUST HAVE:

*   You are an AI expert: You have deep knowledge of LLM application
*   You are experienced with Java, C++, C#, Rust, or similar compiled/strongly typed languages
*   You are familiar with GitOps development processes and workflows
*   You have hands-on experience using AI code development tools such as Cursor or similar
*   You had the chance for some initial experience deploying smaller language models locally or in quick iterations, as well as fine-tuning them
*   You are fluent in German and English

NICE TO HAVE:

*   You are familiar with the challenges of an AI-based B2B startup
*   You are eager to drive the continuous improvement of our AI solutions through the identification and testing of emerging technologies
*   You are an proven early adopter (e.g., published papers, blog posts)
