Late Cofounder - Technology & Innovation (AI, Sensor Networks, and Disaster Prevention)

For one of our portfolio companies at Alvicus.Invest, we are seeking a passionate Late Cofounder - Technology & Innovation (CTO) to join the team in Switzerland 🇨🇭 or Austria 🇦🇹. The company is developing cutting-edge solutions for natural hazard prevention, including AI-driven platforms and sensor networks. • Lead the development of AI-driven platforms and sensor networks for real-time disaster prevention systems.
• Drive the technology strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of sensors, AI models, and data analytics systems.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, particularly related to environmental and hazard data.
• Mentor and build a high-performance technical team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Strong background in AI, machine learning, and data analytics (experience in environmental monitoring or disaster prevention is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with sensor technologies and real-time monitoring systems.
• Ability to contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or growth environment is a plus.
