For our client Mediatis we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on TypeScript/React. Mediatis is a digital agency with two strong pillars: TYPO3 development and individual software development - increasingly with a focus on AI. 26 colleagues, very flat hierarchies, honest and solution-oriented approach - that's what describes Mediatis.
Tasks
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will take on technical responsibility for the frontend of .NET-based projects. Your first field of activity: the ongoing migration from Angular to React as well as the further development of modern, long-lasting platforms - including the integration of AI features.
- Migration of existing frontends from Angular to React (TypeScript)
- Architecture, implementation and code reviews for new features
- Close collaboration with backend (C#/.NET) and QA
- Integration of AI functionalities (e.g. agent co-pilot, editor support, AI search)
- Active collaboration in Scrum sprints (4 weeks): Planning, reviews, estimations (planning poker rounds)
- Coordination with the customer (incl. international stakeholders)
- Quality assurance through testing and clean Git workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript in larger projects
- Deep understanding of modern React patterns (hooks, state management, performance)
- Solid testing experience (e.g. Jest)
- Confident handling of Git and ticketing (Bitbucket, Jira)
- Very good English skills; German skills an advantage
- Senior mindset: independent, customer-oriented, strong communicator, able to take criticism
Nice-to-have
- Angular experience (helpful for the migration) & Vue.js knowledge (interfaces to the TYPO3 team)
- Basic knowledge of C#/.NET; alternatively backend experience with Java or Node.js
- Practice with AI-supported features or agent systems
