Together with our partner Lanes & Planes, we are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d). Lanes & Planes was founded in 2016 to make business travel easier, more efficient and more cost-effective. With an all-in-one platform, they combine travel management, booking, billing and expense management.
Tasks
- You are responsible for the configuration, integration and monitoring of the on-premise infrastructure based on Linux servers.
- You monitor system performance with tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- You automate infrastructure management with Ansible.
- You work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and optimise their performance.
- You take care of containerisation with Incus.
- You bring a software engineering mindset to system administration and improve collaboration between development and operations.
Requirements
- You have more than six years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer specialising in Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu).
- You have in-depth knowledge of Linux server administration, system monitoring (e.g. with Prometheus/Grafana) and automation with Ansible.
- You have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- You have a deep understanding of distributed systems and container orchestration.
- You are a team player with an independent, goal- and solution-oriented way of working.
- You have a strong analytical-strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
