We are looking for a motivated and innovative Rust Engineer to join our tech team. In this role, you will focus on developing real-time machine learning applications for embedded systems. You will be working on our neural network inference engine, which brings models from our research team to the devices our customers use. This is your chance to play a high-impact role, influencing the high-level architecture and implementation details of our engine. Get in touch if you can't get enough of new languages, libraries, and design patterns to make your code as elegant and secure as possible. Thread synchronization techniques and "time waits for nothing" should not be new to you.

Since Rust and C++ often go hand in hand when integrating system libraries or redistributing our engine, knowledge of C++ and its build systems is an advantage. If you're an experienced C++ developer not yet familiar with Rust, you're also welcome!

## Tasks

*   Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Rust code for our real-time audio applications.
*   Handle embedded development (no\_std), focusing on performance tuning, resource optimization, and usability.
*   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define and resolve software issues.
*   Conduct code reviews, evaluating overall system performance and ensuring best practices.
*   Work closely with design team and product managers, contributing to architectural decisions and product roadmap.

## Requirements

*   Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
*   Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) with Rust or C++ programming language, particularly in building real-time audio applications.
*   Experience in embedded development (no\_std), with a focus on performance-intensive applications.
*   Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
*   Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and a strong ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
*   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*   Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
*   Familiarity with modern software development concepts and DevOps: version control (Git), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
*   Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks and runtimes is a plus
