**About the role**

As our first dedicated **Sales Manager**, you’ll be instrumental in building the foundation of our GTM strategy. This role is ideal for someone who’s excited by technical products, fluent in modern sales tooling, and comfortable building from zero. 

If you’re motivated by owning sales infrastructure at the earliest stages and working closely with a passionate and product-led founding team, then we’d love to hear from you.

## Tasks

*   Proactively identify and research high-potential prospects in our key verticals, with a focus on product teams using or embedding audio technology.
*   Own early-stage pipeline metrics - from first touch to qualified lead, optimising conversion rates at each stage.
*   Partner closely with the founders on sales forecasting, funnel modeling, and quota planning.
*   Set up and maintain CRM infrastructure in HubSpot, including custom workflows, dashboards, reporting, and integrations.
*   Execute structured outreach across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified top-of-funnel interest.
*   Evaluate and implement outbound tooling (Eg. Apollo, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to improve targeting and outreach efficiency
*   Feed structured customer and prospect insights back to Product, Marketing, and Tech to help shape messaging, roadmap, and positioning.
*   Represent ai|coustics at select industry events and prospect-facing conversations, with a focus on early technical discovery and qualification.
*   As the company scales, help define the SDR hiring roadmap and lead onboarding, coaching, and operational structure.

## Requirements

*   2–4 years of experience in Sales, Revenue Operations or GTM positions - preferably in an early stage startup.
*   Fluency in sales funnel metrics, CRM logic, and pipeline management tools.
*   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first mindset.
*   Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces.
*   Comfort working autonomously in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.
*   Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
*   Bonus: experience with Audio, AI/ML, audio, or developer-focused products.
