About This Role

The Engineering team is responsible for building and scaling the core systems that power Aurora. This includes our flagship platform (Vantage), internal tooling, APIs, automation layers, and the infrastructure that enables thousands of businesses to operate seamlessly across multiple advertising platforms.

As Aurora continues to grow rapidly, we’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js / NestJS) who can help design, build, and evolve high-performance, secure, and scalable systems. You’ll work across the stack — from user-facing product interfaces to backend services and integrations — playing a key role in shaping how Aurora’s technology operates today and scales tomorrow.

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and optimising scalable, high-performance web applications used daily by our clients and internal teams. Typical work includes:

• Developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end features using Next.js, NestJS, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL
• Integrating with third-party APIs, including Meta and Google
• Collaborating with Product, Sales and Account Management teams to design and deliver new features
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshooting, improving performance and ensuring system reliability and stability
• Applying strong security standards, especially around sensitive data such as payments and advertising metrics

Minimum (mandatory):

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering for modern web applications
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js (portfolio or code samples required)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with NestJS (portfolio or code samples required)
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js
• 1+ years of experience with TypeORM and PostgreSQL
• Comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems
• Strong written and spoken English

Bonus (preferred):

• Experience in AdTech, FinTech or consumer-facing SaaS
• Passion for building high-performance, production-grade products
• A habit of writing clean, scalable and efficient code
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Annual salary of 29,000–45,000 USD
• 19 days of paid time off per year (including 2 company-wide mandatory days off)
