We are a LegalTech startup based in Munich, and we are looking for a "(Junior) Symfony Backend Developer“.


We are building the worlds first litigation finance platform – AEQUIFIN matches litigants, lawyers and funders to enforce legal matters in an innovative way. Our young company offers a flexible, friendly, and digitally-driven work environment.

## Tasks

Due to the small size of our company, there is an opportunity to work directly on numerous interesting projects and take on a lot of responsibility.

In Detail:

*   Developing new Backend features in close coordination with the CTO and Product Owner.
*   Further enhancing responsiveness and user-friendliness of the user interface and service applications. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty with some frontend coding from time to time.
*   Improving code quality by reducing technical dept (which we sadly have) and introducing automated tests.
*   Contributing to all tasks of the Scrum Development Team
*   Testing, presenting, and delivering feature tickets
*   Collaboration with Product Owners, users, and stakeholders

## Requirements

**Must-have:** 

*   You already have good programming skills, ideally with PHP. 
*   You have practical programming experience, e.g., from another job or your own coding projects.

**Nice-to-have:** 

*   You’re studying (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar) and have a strong interest in software development 
*   Ideally, you already have experience with the Symfony framework 
*   You’ve had some hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, or other databases 
*   You’re interested in sometimes working with modern frontend frameworks (we plan to introduce Svelte & Tailwind) 
*   Very good German or English skills 
*   You are a resident of the EU and have a valid work permit
