Job Title: Business Developer (Digital Marketing) | Remote (Europe, ±3h CET overlap)
Job Type: Full time, Remote
Job description
Adhoq is a fast growing performance advertising startup. Our core advantage is deep knowledge and experience in all sectors of the digital advertising landscape and adtech.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow Adhoq’s commercial opportunities by identifying, approaching, and developing relationships with new partners across the performance marketing ecosystem.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone with existing experience in business development, sales, partnerships, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, adtech, or digital advertising - someone who can build pipeline, open conversations, qualify opportunities, and move commercial discussions forward with minimal training.
If you are commercially sharp, proactive, confident in outreach and negotiation, and able to understand how performance marketing partnerships create revenue, this role offers the perfect environment to grow and thrive.
Tasks
Business Development & Pipeline Building
- Identify and research new potential business opportunities for Adhoq.
- Build and manage a pipeline of advertisers, agencies, publishers, affiliates, networks, traffic partners, and other relevant commercial partners.
- Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, industry contacts, conferences, and other relevant channels.
- Open conversations with decision-makers and qualify commercial potential.
- Present Adhoq’s value proposition clearly and professionally.
- Set up and lead discovery calls with potential partners.
Commercial Negotiation & Deal Development
- Understand partner needs, traffic potential, offer requirements, commercial models, and performance expectations.
- Negotiate commercial terms such as CPA, CPL, revenue share, payouts, caps, payment terms, and traffic expectations.
- Identify whether a potential partner or deal is commercially viable for Adhoq.
- Coordinate with internal teams before committing to commercial terms or operational requirements.
- Move opportunities from first contact to signed agreement or qualified handover.
Market Research & Opportunity Mapping
- Research relevant verticals, markets, competitors, traffic sources, partner types, and commercial trends.
- Identify new verticals, geos, and partnership opportunities that could support Adhoq’s growth.
- Track market changes and provide insights on partner demand, pricing, competition, and performance trends.
- Build and maintain target lists for outreach and conference preparation.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams to assess offer potential, traffic fit, tracking needs, and operational feasibility.
- Ensure new opportunities are properly documented before onboarding or handover.
- Share relevant market feedback, partner objections, and commercial insights with management.
- Support smooth onboarding of new partners once commercial terms are agreed.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records of outreach, follow-ups, calls, partner status, and commercial next steps.
- Track pipeline progress, conversion rates, active opportunities, and expected revenue potential.
- Prepare regular updates on pipeline quality, new opportunities, signed partners, blockers, and market feedback.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, partnerships, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, adtech, digital advertising, or a closely related commercial role.
- Strong understanding of commercial relationship building and B2B outreach.
- Ability to identify, approach, and qualify new partners independently.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confident in pitching, follow-ups, objection handling, and negotiation.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to assess revenue potential, partner quality, and business fit.
- Highly organized and disciplined with strong CRM and follow-up habits.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership without constant supervision.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in affiliate marketing, lead generation, advertising networks, affiliate networks, or performance marketing companies.
- Existing network of advertisers, publishers, affiliates, agencies, networks, or traffic partners.
- Familiarity with CPA, CPL, RevShare, payout models, caps, tracking links, postbacks, pixels, and campaign performance metrics.
- Experience with verticals such as Dating, Nutra, iGaming, Sweepstakes, Finance, Lead Gen, or similar.
- Experience preparing for and attending industry conferences.
Benefits
- Competitive salary based on level of seniority;
- Lucrative bonus schemes;
- Remote, full-time role in a performance marketing company.
- Opportunity to work directly with experienced teams;
- Ownership, responsibility, and room to grow based on results.
