We are looking for a Senior Python/JS developer to join an existing team at an up and coming EU-based EdTech company in a remote position from Windhoek, Namibia.

## Tasks

*   Work with the team to discover, test, build and ship the next generation of new features.
*   Bring improvements to the platform by collaborating with designer to polish existing features.
*   Work closely with other engineers by challenging ideas, brainstorming, and having discussions.
*   Participate in design and code reviews.
*   Identify and communicate software engineering best practices.
*   Respond to user queries / requests / feedback and incorporate them.
*   Participate in user need-finding activities (like interviewing), team brainstorming and creative sessions. We want you to actively involve yourself early in product discovery.

## Requirements

*   You have full-stack engineering experience in JavaScript and Python to a senior level (5 years +)
*   You have 5+ full years of experience in developing web-based user interfaces.
*   You have outstanding skills in Python & JavaScript with a type system (TypeScript).
*   You have extensive knowledge in working with React.
*   Additional experience with PostgreSQL, Flask, Jest/Cypress Hasura/GraphQL are an added advantage.
*   You are obsessed with interactions, animations, and visual details.
*   You’re used to version control, code reviews, and agile methodologies.
*   You have experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL.
*   You have experience with product engineering such as building web apps full stack, integrating with relevant APIs and services.
