Tasks
- Perform ISO 17025 accredited calibration of 8tree tools in-house and at customer sites across the Americas
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, including inventory management for customer systems or internal systems & supplies, lab organization and cleanliness, and lab procedures
- Manage general office operations, including organization, cleanliness, and supply replenishment
- Manage shipping and logistics administrative tasks, including coordinating shipments and handling customs documentation
- Ensure orders that are to be fulfilled from US are scheduled, organized, and fulfilled
- Adhere with strict compliance to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Proactively drives process improvements when gaps are identified
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate databases, records, and documentation
- Assist in vendor enrolment activities, including technical and administrative documentation
- Support internal team with online demonstration of product to end customer
- Support customer with remote and onsite troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and repairs
Requirements
- US citizenship required – no exceptions.
- In-office position (not remote) – no exceptions.
- Minimum 1-year experience performing systematic troubleshooting and problem solving
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals to produce professional business documentation and communications
- Good IT knowledge (Windows, shell commands, drivers, log files)
- High attention to detail
- Self-starter with demonstrated initiative to learn, identify challenges and seek solutions
- Adherence to local Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
- Physically capable of lifting ~30 lbs of equipment/packages related to work tasksBachelor's, or higher-level degree in Engineering, Mechanics, or Electronics
