Pedagogy Manager - 42 London

42 London is an ICT training program for all, educating more than 150 learners to become cutting-edge techies and software engineers in a project-based peer-learning environment. 42 London is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded 2013 in Paris and today trains +21,000 students in 56 campuses. Its pedagogical model is based on peer-to-peer learning: collaborative work, no teacher and no lecture, allowing students to express their creativity through a project-based and flexible hands-on curriculum.

As a Pedagogy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of day to day pedagogical operations, admission processes and related initiatives at 42 London. You will support students' progress and learning to successfully complete the Common Core and keep them engaged in the advanced core and create an engaging learning environment.

Includes, but is not limited to:

✅ Create a motivating and engaging learning environment for students.

✅ Manage various student needs and requests:
- Maintain an active onsite presence and keep high interaction with students to identify and resolve constraints hindering progress and deploy all necessary actions to ensure student success.
- Assist students with inquiries regarding projects, evaluations, exams, time management, and motivation or any other pedagogical elements.

✅ Provide academic support and Organize pedagogical activities:
- Address queries and challenges, and actively debate and take necessary actions to achieve the targeted learning outcomes.
- Handle campus transfers, pedagogical delays, and special personal circumstances.
- Engage in all pedagogical communications with students and internal staff (e.g., AMA sessions, conferences, emails, Slack, Surveys, clubs, events..) as well as with external audiences.
- Plan and manage exams, rushes, and other recurring pedagogical events.

✅ Organize key elements of the admission process: Piscines, Introduction meetings, check-ins, and kick-offs...

✅ Collaborate with different teams to:
Organize and oversee hackathons and other pedagogical events.
Improve tools for monitoring the curriculum and students' progress.

✅ Support and report to the IT & Pedagogy Director to:
- Contribute to research, data analysis, and the development of new learning projects.
- Ensure the effective deployment and daily operations of pedagogical processes, implementing new initiatives following the instructions of the central 42 team.

Must-Have:

✔ Right to live and work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
✔ Fluent in written and spoken English.
✔ Dedication to student success and the 42 model.
✔ Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, proactive, flexible, and supportive.
✔ Positive communication skills: non-violent communication, NLP, etc…
✔ Passion for education and the 42 pedagogy.
✔ Proficiency in C, C++, Shell scripting, Python, and data analysis
✔ 42 Common Core completed.
✔ Public Speaking
✔ Commitement for daily on-campus attendance
✔ At least 1 year of experience at a 42 Campus or similar role.

Nice-to-Have:

➕ Knowledge of Agile methodology.
➕ Experience with the 42 API.
➕ Additional language skills (French or others are a plus, given our diverse international community).
