At 2 Open China Ecommerce, we specialize in helping international companies expand into the Chinese market through digital strategies and e-commerce. With offices in Spain and China, we work on innovative projects connecting brands with consumers in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing and Business Development Intern with a strong interest in tourism, digital strategies, and commercial development. This role offers a unique opportunity to work both on the commercial development of new tourism-related projects and on their execution and implementation, particularly those targeting Chinese travelers.

Tasks

  • Support the development and execution of business development strategies related to tourism and digital promotion aimed at Chinese audiences.
  • Identify and contact potential partners, tourism institutions, venues, and service providers to present collaboration opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings with public and private stakeholders, contribute to ideation, and help draft proposals and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of commercial materials and pitch decks for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate on the planning, design, and promotion of digital marketing campaigns on platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, etc.
  • Help coordinate and execute on-site promotional actions and events at tourism-related locations.
  • Support the tracking and nurturing of partner relationships and sales leads.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and positioning strategies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student at a university or educational institution that allows signing an internship agreement.
  • Strong interest in tourism, commercial development, and digital marketing.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Chinese is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work from our Madrid office in a hybrid format (at least 2–3 days per week onsite).
  • Availability to travel locally as needed for meetings, content creation, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proactive, persuasive, hands-on, and eager to take initiative in both commercial and operational tasks.
