Information Security Officer (all genders) - up to 100% REMOTE possible

Overview

• We are only accepting applicants who are resident in Germany or Austria and currently hold a work permit for Germany or Austria.
• Salary: € 70.000 - € 85.000 gross per annum with willingness to overpay
• Up to 100% REMOTE possible, Flexible working hours
• Full or part-time possible (32 - 40 hours per week)

21X is a Frankfurt-based fintech and is in the process of being authorised as a financial institution that will launch the first ESMA-licensed, blockchain-based exchange under the EU DLT regulation - DLTR. We are a global team of capital markets, digital assets and public blockchain experts with a proven track record of building regulated digital asset exchanges.

• Establishing an Information Security Management System within the financial industry in a cloud only IT environment.
• Implementation of organizational and technical security measures
• Oversight of the information security of third-party providers
• Security architecture definition and implementation, especially for the in-house developed trading platform including blockchain technology
• Sparing partner for tech and business teams in the aspects of information security and privacy
• Manage and participate in internal and external audits/certifications

• Completed education in the field of IT
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of information security management, security operations or information risk management
• Experience in the financial industry in the EU including regulations such as DORA is highly beneficial
• Information security certifications (CISM,…) are advantageous
• Knowledge of distributed ledger technology and DeFi is an advantage
• You have a high level of commitment, flexibility, and strong communication skills
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
