1KOMMA5°

At 1KOMMA5°, we pursue a clear vision: Living on wind and sunlight forever for free. To make this a reality, we are building the energy system of the future with Heartbeat AI. Want to be part of it?

We bring together regional craftsmanship and scalable software: We don't think of solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility as isolated components, but control them as an intelligent, integrated overall system in our virtual power plant. Directly connected to the electricity market – in real time, fully automated. This way, energy is used when it is available from renewables and particularly cost-effective. By 2030, our goal is to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energies. Over 3,000 people are working towards this every day, at more than 80 locations worldwide, from Finland to Australia.

Want to take responsibility and build solutions that truly matter? Apply now and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow.

Deine Position

As our (Junior) Controller (m/f/d), you work directly with the CFO of Heartbeat AI GmbH and at the heart of our financial operations. You are joining a fast-growing energy tech company at an exciting stage where the financial foundations you help build today will directly shape how the business scales tomorrow. In your role you will:

Own the financial heartbeat of the business: You take responsibility for our monthly closing process (Monatsabschluss) and internal financial reporting (P&L, Cost Center Reports, Forecasts) - ensuring accurate, timely, and structured financial reporting across the company

Turn numbers into decisions: You build and maintain financial reports that give our leadership team a clear picture of costs, revenues, and business performance and you are not shy about flagging what the numbers are telling us

Grow into a strategic finance partner: Beyond the numbers, you will increasingly contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning working closely with the CFO to strengthen our financial infrastructure as the company scales

Make Excel your instrument: You work with structured, well-designed spreadsheet models every day building, improving, and maintaining them to a high standard

Apply AI to make your life easer: You are keen to learn directly from an AI driven tech environment and dive into a variety of AI tools (i.e. Claude) to boost your and your teams efficiency in reportings and forecasting purposes

Dein Profil

You have hands-on experience in controlling in the context of energy markets - whether cost, revenue, or sales controlling, what matters is that you know how to work with financial data and turn it into structured, reliable reporting

You have completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field - a Master's degree is not required

You are highly proficient in Excel and enjoy working in it daily. Clean model structure, well-organized sheets, and solid formula work are second nature to you

You have excellent language skills in both German and English (C1/C2)

You are detail-oriented and structured, with a strong sense of ownership over the numbers you are responsible for

Above all, you are eager to learn: you see joining a fast-growing tech company as an opportunity to grow fast, take on real responsibility, and build something meaningful from the ground up

Benefits

With your work, you accelerate the "energy transition" and hence have a direct impact on our climate

Work with and learn from other super-smart colleagues

You will enjoy direct contact with core decision-makers

You will enjoy the best chances of entering full-time in one of Europe’s most thriving scaleups

You work remotely (Germany-wide), with offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Munich

Create a healthy balance alongside your work and enjoy all the benefits of the EGYM Wellpass

Benefits and discounts are yours with Futurebens
