We’re looking for a Head of Operations to join our growing team, to help us bring boat holidays to the masses. You will be responsible for our customer’s experience from their first interaction with a sales team member through to collecting their post trip feedback after a memorable boat holiday.

## Tasks

*     Your first priority is to ensure that our Sales and Post Booking teams are performing optimally and reaching the targets as set in the business plan.

● You will own and develop the roadmap of activity to activate the team to reach these critical

targets and deliver a first-class customer experience that matches our brand and company

values.

● You will be responsible for developing the team culture and embedding best practices and

behaviors

● You will act as a mentor for the Sales and Post Booking team leads and support them in

developing the unique skills needed to lead people effectively.

● You will monitor, manage and report on the KPIs assigned to you. You will seek answers to

variance and devise improvements and implement them effectively.

● You will work with your team leads, marketing and product to deliver a localised approach to

selling based on user and market data.

● You will seek to improve the operational efficiency of your unit and collaborate with other

operational units in their efforts as well.

## Requirements

*   10+ years of relevant professional experience including 5+ years in leadership positions
*   Demonstrable experience in a digital marketplace is critical for this role - especially in Sales and Customer Care operational roles.
*   You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in an inside sales management function OR a a function that has direct impact on revenue generation with monthly targets to achieve
*   Demonstrable ability to achieve growth targets and commercial outcomes
*   Outstanding leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
*   Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
*   Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
*   Understanding of business functions such as HR, Legal and Finance etc.
*   You have demonstrable experience in leading and influencing others
*   You can manage diverse programming and can skillfully prioritise as needed
*   You must be data-driven and be able to collect, analyse and present data in support
*   of recommendations to be delivered to the executive team
*   You possess the ability to foster working relationships and establish trust across organisational lines both internally and with customers
*   You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
*   You have strong impersonal skills and emotional intelligence
*   You are highly organised with an ability to balance projects and escalations in a fast paced environment
*   You are business driven - failing your KPIs is not an option
*    Salesforce Service or Sales Cloud knowledge is an advantage.
